Garrett Plocky
My name is Garrett Plocky. I am a 12 year-old student at Ernest Lawrence Middle School. I could be known to be a technology freak, as I have an iPhone, iMac, and an iPad.
This project helped me learn a lot about Rome. I learned about Roman geography, Ancient Rome, modern day Rome, Roman culture, and Rome's environmental issues. This project also helped me learn about cooperation. Some information I learned was about how Rome is surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea, I learned all about Renaissance art and music, and I learned about how Rome has an air pollution problem. Using this information, I worked together with my partners to make this website and to make a three-dimensional model that looks like Rome.

Daniel Segal
My name is Daniel Segal. I am a 12-year-old student currently enrolled in the magnet at Ernest Lawrence Middle School. I love to eat, sleep, and read. I also run track for the Chatsworth Chiefs.
My city for the project was Rome. Rome is the capital of Italy, a boot-shaped country in Europe near the Mediterranean Sea. We learned a lot about past and present-day Rome. We learned not only about the city, but cooperation, procrastination, and teamwork as well. We learned about the government, history, culture, economy, modern-day, geography, and the environmental issues. Some of Rome's environmental problems date back to ancient times! Overall, this project was a fantastic learning experience. Also, the website was formatted by me, and the three-dimensional Lego model was created by me as well.

Nathen Shin
I am 13 years old and I love the outdoors. Every moment of free-time that I have, I'm either outside playing basketball or football. Another thing that I've loved since I was a little kid is reading books. My favorite type of genre is mystery and adventure.
I learned a lot while doing this project. One thing that I learned is Rome's current environmental issues. Another thing I learned is about the many possible solutions to solve them. Some of the solutions could possibly involve hydroelectric power and hydrogen-run cars. Through research, I found out many facts on Roman culture such as different foods and drinks, different ways of eating, and different parts of things that they eat. I also found examples of Roman infrastructure which would include aqueducts and roads.
